The Objectives of the Celestial Church of Christ Academy of Music and Music Technology are many and very much unique. The Academy is the first Higher Institution offering solely Music as programmes in any higher institution in Nigeria. There are other higher Institution in the country that include Music as just a programme amongst their numerous programmes. The Polytechnic, Ibadan established Music Technology programme in 1993 (ND and HND) after so much pressure from the National Board for Technical Education, Kaduna persistently faulting music as a technological course. They thereby became the first Higher Institution in the country to offer Music Technology in both ND and HND level. CERTIFICATE COURSES:Candidate for all Certificate courses must have at least 2 credit passes and 2 Ordinary passes in any of the subject of the following examination: SSSCE, NECO, GCE or Its equivalent e.g. ABRSM NATIONAL DIPLOMA COURSES Candidate with either SSSCE, NECO, GCE O’ Level or its equivalent with passes at credit level in at least four subject including English Language and three others out of the following : English Literature, a major Nigerian Language, History, Geography, Religious Knowledge, Economics, Home Management etc. SHORT TERM COURSES Ween-end and Week days on all musical instruments, Choir Management, Sight Reading, Voice Training, Percussion: e.g Drums- Set,Conga, Gangan. REQUIREMENTS Good Knowledge of English Language, and a remarkable experience of membership experience of membership of a musical organisation e.g. Choir, Band etc. PAYMENTS All Application Forms for Certificate Courses, National Diploma Courses, Higher National Diploma and Short Term Courses are available in different Centres in Nigeria and are also available on our website,
