The Objectives of the Celestial Church of Christ Academy of Music and Music Technology are many and very much unique. The Academy is the first Higher Institution offering solely Music as programmes in any higher institution in Nigeria.

There are other higher Institution in the country that include Music as just a programme amongst their numerous programmes.The Polytechnic, Ibadan established Music Technology programme in 1993 (ND and HND) after so much pressure from the National  Board for Technical Education,Kaduna persistently faulting ordinary Music as a Technological Course.
